How to compile your ads when promoting?

People promote their website in many different ways using their SEO and Advertising nous, including through forums, via articles, using directories and much more. You probably know many of these promotion methods and are likely to use a huge variety. If you are limited in the diversity of your promoting, check out this article on backlink variation. Once you have focused on obtaining variable and quality promotion sources, you can then move on to the key element of compiling the actual text of your advertisement.
When putting together your advertisement, you will often have a short and long version of your advertisement text. Both different lengths of the text will often come in handy as you will find many of the different promotion methods allow descriptions of your website, though some have character/word restrictions. There are a few key points to consider when putting together your advertisement text:

> Keywords in Text.So you now know there are some key areas to make sure you are getting full benefit out of your promotion. I will investigate these few points further in greater detail.

Now I’m sure this first point goes without saying, but posting an advertisement containing really poor spelling or sentences will offer now attraction to anyone viewing the advertisement and most likely drive them away from viewing your website. That equals traffic lost straight away. You can avoid instantly causing a high portion of your traffic to bounce by simply spending and extra few minutes checking over the body of text to see if the English and grammar make sense and work well.> How attractive is it?
The second point is again, simple, but sometimes overlooked. You need to make sure your advertisement sounds and looks interesting to the people viewing it. If someone views the advertisement and all it says is, “My site about fishing with heaps of fishing information. Come take a look.” Really? Are you going to visit the website…I doubt it. If the advertisement included many well phrased sentences making the site sound exciting and convincing the people viewing that there is a very good reason for them to view your site, then you will have a much higher chance of the ad working and gaining traffic. Also adding in a themed logo or image to the advertisement can work very well to hook interest and make your ad a whole lot more attractive to people viewing it.> Keywords in Text.
The third point is often overlooked when people write up their advertising text. People usually rush, trying to get their ad written as fast as possible, and forget this key element of the advertisement. What am I taking about here? I am referring to the implementation of keywords in the body of your advertising text to increase the saturation of the words, thus vastly improving the search engine value of your advertisement. Let me give you and example, and for this example let’s use “fishing”, “fishing tours”, “local seafood” and “fishing information” as keywords we want to target.Ad 1: “Really awesome new website about fishing with a stylish theme, great advice and pictures of local areas. We offer heaps of reviews on products and tours around the local places along with the latest product information”
Ad 2: “New fishing information website offering local seafood catching and eating reviews and pictures. We take a look at fishing tours, key fishing rod and bait guides and product information”
Surely it doesn’t take underlined keywords to see the vast difference between the two similar length advertisements. Obviously I used two extremes to show my point, but you can see how the second example has much higher keyword saturation in the advertisement. By implementing your chosen keywords into your ad text you vastly improve the search engine value of your promotion and increase your keyword targeting through the search engines.

This was a great write up, I really liked how you made it point to bring up grammar and spelling. So many times this is a downfall for many many sites.This is coming from a really bad speller. Definitely, glad other people can agree here too. A poorly worded and poorly spelled ad will not get you far.
I mean, how would somebody or anyone like it when its done poorly thus, agreed or no?

I generally adapt my text depending on the website and judging what I think will work best on that website.
Yes it is good to vary it, but do you consider the keywords in text?
